Philippe Garnier is the founder of WPW Performance Consulting, a management consulting firm. Philippe was previously IHG’s VP Third Party Distribution at IHG from 2018 to 2022.

Philippe’s previous experience with other hotel chains started with Hilton in February 2003 as the director of commercial development, then senior director for distribution sales. At this time, he was instrumental in developing and driving business through channel partners such as travel agents, online distributors and wholesalers. He then served as Vice President Sales & Regional Marketing for Asia Pacific from 2009 to 2013, based in Singapore. Following that he was VP Global Luxury Sales based in the US from 2013.

Prior to joining the hospitality industry, Philippe held a number of senior consulting roles with companies such as Price Waterhouse Coopers and KPMG Consulting.

A US and French national, Philippe graduated from the Lyon Graduate School of Business in 1991. He is fluent in French, English, German and Russian, and speaks and reads Japanese, Spanish and several other languages. Philippe is married with three children.
