Marc Bichet
Chief Marketing Officer, GCP Hospitality (Gaw Capital Group)

Leading the Group marketing strategy, brands and product development expanding the overall hospitality portfolio to over 40 properties as of 2018. During his tenure, Marc has been leading the development of award winning lifestyle brand: Hotel G, the revival of luxury brand in Myanmar: The Strand Hotel & Cruise and the launch of Campus Student Co-living Hubs. Marc received his Master’s Degree in Marketing with Honors and cumulates over 15 years marketing experience gained in Europe and Asia including spells with internationally recognized branding agencies, institutional firms and hospitality groups. He is part of the Advisory Board of the Boutique & Lifestyle Lodging Association.


Laura-Marie Arens

LauraMarie is passionate about improving the user experience for travellers on Google Search. LauraMarie has been at Google for eight years working as Business Leader for Travel Search in EMEA (Berlin/Germany),  Industry Manager for Travel (Hamburg/Germany) and Global Product Lead for Vertical Search (San Francisco/USA). LauraMarie holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management (Vallendar/Germany) and studied at Instituto de Empresa Madrid (Spain) and Trinity College Dublin (Ireland).


Grant Colquhoun
Senior Director of Account Management Asia-Pacific, TripAdvisor

Grant Colquhoun is Senior Director of Account Management for TripAdvisor in Asia Pacific. Based in TripAdvisor’s regional headquarters in Singapore, Grant is responsible for its click-based advertising business in Asia Pacific and manages the accounts of leading online travel agencies and hotels with a team of 15 staff.With a career in travel spanning over 20+ years, Grant began working for Sabre Holdings in Global Accounts and Product Development. This was followed by Travelocity, which saw him leading a hotel contracting team of 40 staff.


Thomas Wenger

With the establishment of Enderun Hospitality Management 2013, Thomas worked at the forefront of the management and consultancy arm of the Enderun Colleges – Enderun Hospitality Management -ultimately taking over as Managing Director in August 2016 and currently serving as Senior Vice President for the group.


Chetan Patel

Chetan has in-depth experience across a broad spectrum of online marketing, e-commerce and communication platforms. During a career of more than 16 years, he has garnered an excellent understanding of the ever changing Internet travel landscape and is able to skilfully incorporate the latest developments into current business practices at ONYX Hospitality Group. Chetan currently heads the E-Commerce department at ONYX managing all aspects of the organisation’s online initiatives from SEO to digital marketing, web development, OTA relationship management, social media, loyalty CRM and partnership marketing. Being on the supplier side, Chetan is very passionate about distribution and driving direct business.


Blessy Townes
Group Director, Digital Marketing, The Discovery Leisure Company, Inc.

Blessy has 17 years of experience in Digital Marketing and successful portfolio in SEO, PPC, E-Commerce, Social Media, and Online Reputation. Single-handedly managing the group’s digital campaigns in-house, she launched SEO-friendly and mobile compliant websites in 2015 and achieved 100% growth in Book Direct production for two consecutive years; relaunched websites with sustained Google ranking and increased direct booking revenue by PHP61M in 2017. YTD Book Direct initiative contributes 31% of revenue outperforming OTA’s 26%. Before joining Discovery, Blessy was Director of E-Commerce at Sofitel Manila launching the property’s SEO campaigns and social media accounts, which were the strongest in Sofitel network worldwide.


Michael Belanger
Vice President Revenue & Distribution, GCP Hospitality

Michael Belanger is the Vice President Revenue & Distribution at GCP Hospitality, which manages a growing portfolio of over 39 properties and 7,500+ keys around the world with flagship hotels like InterContinental Hong Kong, Four Seasons Bora Bora and The Strand Hotel & Cruise in Myanmar. Under his guidance, the company is developing revenue management best practices and processes for Hotels, Serviced Apartments and Student Accommodations across Asia & Pacific region. Prior to joining GCP Hospitality, Michael worked over 15 years with IHG in Canada, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong, with his most recent role at the company’s flagship, InterContinental Hong Kong, as Director of Revenue Management.


Aida Merdovic 
Director of Online, Hamilton Island

Aida began her career in adland with Clemenger BBDO, 14 years ago. She has gone on to lead digital teams, client side, at a number of leading travel organisations. In her current capacity as Director of Online at Hamilton Island Enterprises, Aida’s focus is on delivering commercial outcomes (Direct Bookings!) through insights driven Customer Acquisition and optimised User Experiences across platforms and devices.


Sunish Sadasivan
Vice President of E-Commerce & Revenue Management, Chroma Hospitality

Sunish has worked with several hotels and resorts chain for the past 18 years doing Revenue Management and E-Distribution at Property as well as Corporate levels, for which his primary job scope was to maximize overall hotel revenue; while balancing profitability through implementation of an effective revenue management process and data driven fact based business decisions. He has held Area Distribution level positions with Anantara as well as Amari Group. He has pre-opened two hotel chains located in Dubai and Philippines leading the Revenue, E-Commerce and Reservation Sales teams. He has also successfully set up Revenue Management systems including Ideas and EZRMS in his previous companies with hands on Training experience in building the Revenue Management culture.


Jeff Crowe
Executive Assistant Manager, Sales & Marketing, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

Jeff Crowe is a hotel marketing & sales professional specialising in the Asia Pacific region. Beginning early 1994 in Beijing, Jeff has worked in five different countries – China (twice!), plus Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, and now Singapore. In 2017 he joined The Fullerton Hotels in Singapore, having previously worked with industry leaders Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Marriott International, and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Throughout his career, Jeff has specialised in orchestrating change – creating centralised marketing & sales organisations, restructuring existing teams for maximum performance – and building a pipeline of people for promotion.


Charlie Osmond

Charlie built his first business straight after graduating from Oxford with a degree in engineering. He was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Esquire Magazine and one of HSMAI’s ‘Extraordinary Minds’. Charlie’s also a member of the British Airways Business Advisory Board. Charlie is Triptease’s Chief Tease and also drives the company’s brand and marketing strategy.
